AFL 2012 Teamcoach
 With the start of the 2012 AFL season came the release of this years Team Zone product with AFL 2012 Teamcoach Game Cards and the relaunch of their website for this year. Collectors were hoping that this years release would continue the continual improvement of the Teamcoach releases, with good quality cards, variations of the inserts and a good player list for collectors and the online game........and Team Zone did not let the collectors down.
This year saw all the various inserts return and the common set in a similar style to previous years but each one has been improved over the summer, more colour, more thoughts to the design and more interest in the set. These cards directed towards the younger market may hit the right spot with styles that grab the kids attention but still at a level the collector enjoys.
These cards can be used in conjunction with the Teamcoach website www.teamcoach.com.au

 One lucky forum member!
One of our regular forum members had a find of a lifetime while opening a case of the 2012 Footycards Draft Prospect yesterday. He thought the case was good when he had already received States finest SF01 Neale #01, a Draft Signature Card DS35 Curran #01 plus a couple of Futures cards, a few Nickname Signature cards and a Dual Signature DUAL07 Patton and coniglio dual auto #12, however that wasnt even the best part of the case.
There was still one very unexpected card lurking in the case. Want to know what the card was? Well Read on.....

Here is the information regarding the redemption cards from the 2012 Select AFL Champions release. Inserted at 1:72 packs will be either a red or blue redemption card. These redemption cards will be redeemable for either a set of the 2011 The Screamers 3-D cards or a choice of 3 of these cards.

 2012 Select AFL Champions release information
Here are the final release information for the 2012 Select AFL Champions soon to be released. A couple of favourite sets have returned and a few new sets have been added. The omission of the Draft Rookie card is probably the biggest shock to collectors but that has made some room for what I feel could be quite an interesting set overall.
10 Cards per pack, 36 Packs per box consisting of a 216 card common set, 216 DIY laser Sticker and peel and reveal gold card, 17 Best and Fairest cards, 24 Rising Star cards, 74 Milestone Foil cards, 17 Club Trio cards and 2 instant win cards.
The 3 case cards have now been announced: Sam Newman, Mick Martyn and Adam Goodes.

2012 Select AFL prerelease news
 Select Australia have announced that their AFL release will be available from March 2nd 2012.
So far there isnt much news to release on the Series 1 cards with just a sneak peek through their social network, watch out for more news over the coming days as it becomes available.

 2012 Football Draft Prospects
Footycards.com.au have released information for the first 2012 AFL trading card set. This set was focused on some of the potential draft picks when the set was developed and photos completed prior to the 2012 Draft.
This will be the first release of this type in the Australian market and will be extremely limited. A major step from last years boxed Draft rookie set release to this randomly inserted sealed packed style release. This set will be highly sought after by collectors and will get the hobby running early in 2012.
