Agree Ash. Th packs themselves are very striking.
The views in this story are those of the author and not necessarily those of the clubs or the AFL.

No the best of the best is to replace the Double Trouble, they might not of known what to do with the draft rookies since the first 16 misses a few clubs

The Cruiser Report

-4c dearer-neither here nor there if they are better
-No draft Rookies... interesting but understandable considering the draft results missing clubs this year.
Huge omission however.
Hooray for that ,as expected DR's will not be left out, news has broken...

-Gem,card,Superstar gem,Best of the best,Foil sig,DC.. but at what ratio?
-Continue to make that album, will it be damage proof where it closes?? Folder Card??
-Love the packets and pages with it,though

Revolutionary Changes that would excite..
-A second paralell that is not a DC every 2nd or 3rd pack.
-Less commons
- A hot pack full of acetate cards-HELLO what's this!!!
-Imagine a 72 pack box, wouldn't that be interesting? Post expensive but people would buy them.

Verdict: Differences mostly minor except in the omission and duplication of teams in best of the best series.
I think they will be very good ,but not enough encouraging changes unfortunately

Mmmm....they look pretty good. I'm hoping the draft rookies are only exlcuded from the flyer and when we get checklist they'll be there. Or has it been confirmed no draft rookies? I was psyching myself up to buy my first case.....but may change my mind if no draft rookies.

At this stage p-dawg you'd be better off buying a case of series II and just saving your money.
I like them too,but not enough to buy a case and swim around in useless commons and DC's for half a year.

Yeah sometimes they leave an insert off the flyer. But having no rookies in series one is good and bad. Bad for the young kids who the cards a mainly aimed at but good as they are not doubling up like they normally do with 2 or sometimes even 3 rookie cards of the same player.

Sweet, just over 1 month to go before my activity picks up here again!

Although it may be sooner as the gf has expressed interest in the "Dog-tag" collection

Yeah!
In my eyes that is exactly what I am expecting now!
If they are not metal we (gf and I) will be VERY disappointed!

I am interested to see what else gets added to this champs set though as so far it is not too appealing!
Might be time for me to ring Di and get my details changed for the promo cards etc...

My wants will be the standard set x 2, the guernsey set x 1, Geelong guernsey set x 1, 1 extra of all checklists (Guernsey and normal), Geelong Inserts and Essendon inserts

Other then that just 2 albums to hold our sets and we will be done till series 2

Image

I somehow doubt they will be metal though at $2.99 for 5 Dog-tags! I do hope they prove me wrong though
