Postby go_carlton2004 » 06 Aug 2007, 22:56

Talk is that there may not be the full total of 60 sets of Scanlens in the ballot. How many do you sets of Scanlens do you beleive are really going to be sold via this method.

59.. dont they keep set number 1's... plus all the sets with the players numbers... so probably 20-30 they cant sell.. so that would make 30 odd sets available... and they will all go to steve wang 1.. steve wang 2... steve wang 3... steve wang 4... etc

they should display the names of the winners. Like any other competition. But they wouldn't do that because that will cause even more questions. Like"why are there only 40 winners and not 60." Thats my guess, 40. Unless they changed there minds but they said some card shops will be selling the sets aswell.

I know of at least three sets that are already out there, and I was offered cards from a numbered set last year and was told the number. Out of respect for the person who offered them I won't reveal that number, but I will say that it influenced my vote.

Well I have had a few offers over the past few years to purchase UNCUT sheets, I wonder if they will let it slip how many get out.
