Amazing the best player i have ever seen is the cheapest  . Wonder if that has to do with the Crows top or just his personality off Field

Also isnt it funny how the current stars in particular Judd and Ablett r much more than Hird and buckley players are forgotten quickly still think those 2, Hird & Buck Buck are cheap as too Carey (wrong top)

think you will find prices fall again soon ... archer sold for 140+ the other day. not what he was getting 170+, prices will go down a bit more simply because there are too many up then once it dries up again prices will increase again.

To all that might have seen a recent bin for a complete set of AFL Scanlens.

I contacted the seller to ask what number the set was and was told due to security the number could not be disclosed but it was in the 50's they said. :?

Other facts to consider before hitting that button is the seller who has been on ebay for a while, does not have any feedback and recently changed their id. :? You cant pay via Paypal and there is no way you could obtain your money back if anything went "wrong". :?

I am mentioning this more to the newer buyers on eBay who may not realise that the above should make you think twice about hitting the bin button.

I've just let him/her a message too saying that you're expecting a lot of trust from people for a potential $4000+ sale with no offer of insurance.
And no history.

I cant get over sorry wont give number due to sercurity WHAT????

Or is it so they can't be reported to Select etc.

If you are purchasing an item to that value then knowing the No is an important issue.

Yes, that all looks very strange to me. If someone were to purchase those cards, then they should be asking for postal insurance on top of registered post, and they should also get the seller to scan the Registered Post number and send that to them by email before paying for it.

And I can't believe the Security thing either - the only thing I can think of is that he doesn't want Select to know he's selling them.

I think its very strange, no way I would buy it, just wanted to point it out if someone was thinking it was a good idea to bid on it.

They is really only one reason a person wont tell you the number in my opinion and it has nothing to do with Select. Its one thing not to mention what the number is on the listing, quite another not to inform people when they ask through my messages.

Interesting. The seller of the first set has just begun listing a second lot of cards.

Now the seller ended the listing early! Must have been a false alarm.

Not a false alarm, he's actually got 3 others up for auction, I'd say he just accidently listed the Wanganeen again, he's got one finishing in 50mins or so, unless he had more than one and someone made him an offer so he finished it early.

He had the first lot up for sale on here, this lot might be the ones left that people didn't pay for??????
