Check if you have loaded your side with too many injured players. I've got 3 in my squad that I will be changing.

Shall we have a small quickpick for saturday night.

When does my team have to be finalised?

The final lockout for Round 1 is 7.45pm Friday, just before the first bounce of the Geelong v St Kilda game. Because of the Thursday night game there is a partial lockout which means all Carlton and Richmond players must be locked in before those teams play at 7.40pm on Thursday. After this time you can't move any Blues or Tigers in our out of your team, but there are still unlimited trades for players from the other 15 clubs until the final lockout. This gives SuperCoaches a chance to see all the teams before finalising their squad.

Has anyone tried this? Saw it in this article. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/s ... 6046150280

This also means the captain loophole is open for those who wish to use it - pick a West Coast or Melbourne player as vice-captain then decide tomorrow if you want to keep that score for your skipper or go with someone else.

If your vice-captain didn't fire, simply name a player from a team yet to play as your captain.

However, if your vice-captain produces a huge score, you can double the points by naming a player you know will score zero as captain - such as a player from a team with the bye this weekend. But make sure you have an emergency in that position who will be playing.

I made Cox Vice Captain yesterday and he has scored 131. I have one player (Otten from the crows) that is in my team and so I can make him captain and double my score. I also have Goddard, Judd, Pendlebury, J Riewoldt, Petrie that all scored big last round. What to Do :?
