Nah, I kinda just like that you never know what you might get. Not that I would stop buying the product either way, numbered or not pulling a redemption is uber-sweet. :D

Yes, cards should be numbered, better accountability. better still, ditch the redemption process all together and insert all the cards in the product.

So we get nicely scratched sigs on the rarest of cards? :?

Judging by the DPS of the past several years ALL signature cards should be redeemed.

It is a necessary annoyance the redemption process. To quicken it up an online system would be quicker. I would still like to see the option of sending it in too as some do not use computers. I would also like them to keep the Redemption card looking nice as they do a good job on them. The US redemption are a pice of white board with a few words on them, well the ones I have seen anyway. The Redemptions should be used for all Signatures until they can find a way of protecting the texta on the card without it getting damaged in the pack. Hardly buy Pinnacle for this reason due to the many scratched Draft Signatures.

The redemption code is an interesting theory, but really, i think i would rather a clean hole in one corner then a scratched out winning scratchie !!

i dont think a redemption code would work. there would be people who would sell the redemption card on ebay and then redeem the code to get the signature!
it would only work if people only ever purchased a redemption with the signature card.

Well if the code had to be scratched you could see in any photo on ebay. And like all things on ebay there is an honesty factor with most things, so there needs to be trust with seller and buyer alike.

Plus once someone works out the pattern they will sit on their pc and keep typing codes until they redeem others

Lets keep this topic to "numbering on redemptions" not the redemption process...

Well getting back to the topic at hand I would like to hear reasons why people have voted no also . There is nothing wrong with voting no of course . I suppose it is to receive the better numbered cards and for a while there I didn't think it mattered but after seeing how some of the prices are increased Imo as someone pointed out it makes it an unfair playing field. As also mentioned it means everyone has a chance even years down the track to get a more valuable card due to the low numbering or a player number.

Highly Recommended for me to have a number aswell, gives you the certainty that you'll be getting the number before you send it in, and will also make you more happier, i suppose it just gives you a more exciting prospect and you never know when your going to hit the lower/guersney numbers.

i think that the numbered redemption is a great idea .last year i pulled 3 riewoldt csr and sent them in together and recieved back 11,13,16 hows that work? when i saw 11 as the first i thought you ripper then the rest was a let down ,
its fair enough some collectors chase certain numbers but i believe it would keep values of the cards up as say i get number 12 riewoldt red and a collector who has another wants the number i have it would be beneficial to me as i can still get the card i want as trade say for instance swap the csr and i can ask him for a dps as an incentive ..if you know what i mean

Really the number is secondary, we should be happy just to pull a redemption, a low/jumper # is just a bonus. As long as I've got certainty that I'll get my card I'm pleased.

Of course things might go the other way and they could stop producing numbered redemptions at all.
