Amazing win, still in disbelief and so happy to say I've now been to a GF and seen my team win. The G was a great atmosphere yesterday...in fact all 3 final games have been like that. Our relentless pressure and 2nd half's have been fantastic for the entire finals series

Wow what a win that was! I was lucky enough to fly across from Perth, queued up at 4am in MCC for my 1st grand final ever and see a tigers win!

Looking for a favour from someone in Melbourne with access to a friendly newsagent.
I'm trying to obtain copies of the paper and any souvenir additional posters/stickers/mags etc from Monday 02/10 to Saturday 07/10.
Happy to pay a fair price including the postage obviously, the herald sun sells back issues but they're $10/copy!!!

MONDAY, OCTOBER 2 - just the paper
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 3 - just the paper
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4 - just the paper
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5 - The paper and the premiership stickers
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6 - just the paper
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7 - the paper and the $4.95 premiership magazine
Also looking for some of the newstand posters if available.

Let me know if you're able to help.

Cheers Lucas

Richmond's final series has just been awesome. Been waiting for this day for a very long time and now the TIGERS are the 2017 Premiers.
This was my first time at a grand final and it was the best game of football I have ever been too.

http://www.richmondfc.com.au/video/2017-10-04/2017-grand-final-up-close-and-personal

And today CUB are releasing a limited edition carlton draught so grab a slab or 2.

Bring on 2018 :D :D :D :D

PS: Tigerland16, I was able to get Mondays and Tuesdays Herald Suns (as well as todays paper) from my local newsagent. (PM sent)

Not bad show of depth.
I didnt realise how many players were out.

Essendon snapped at our heals all night.
A great contest.
Total inspiration from Caddy.
I thought he showed great leadership tonight.
Houli and Conca had great returns and contributed immediately.
Martin improved as the game went in after a poor start and might have banked 3 votes at the end.

Zak and Heppell tried hard all night.
Favorite moments?

Rioli chase down tackle
Caddy big mark.
So good to go to the game and see a Tiger win in 2018

Condolences to the Tigers fans on here. A fantastic season only to be beaten by a side who played out of their skins tonight. Will still be a force to be reckoned with next year with Dusty fully fit.

Correct.
Obviously we are not a one man team..
And one game does not mean our system is broken.
Its a final. AFL players are brave. if you ask them are you ready to go or are you still in recovery whats he going to say?
Anyone who can read knew that. Astbury played with a flu and thats just one example.
Fought hard anyway! Super proud of our guys for a dynamic year :)

Hows that Liam Ryan launch today? Cruiser predicts big future things for that man.
All the best to your WCE!!
Probably the most consistent and well rounded team all year (amazingly no nicnat, gaff and Sheppard and hardly mattered,
and have gone long periods earlier on in the year without Kennedy and Darling as well.)
It was the first time a team has been held goalless at half-time in a preliminary final.

They would be worthy winners indeed.

Thanks Cruise, it was a most exciting day. As you experienced last year nothing beats GF week when your team's in it so just going to soak it up. I'm sure you'll be able to find an Eagles supporter keen to grab your predictor :D

Every team has experienced key players going down at crucial times.
For the tigers right now it's hard to find a team doing it harder.

Over 1000 games of experience not on the park and growing every week it seems.

Her'es a breakdown of how bad it actually is..underlined were missing, injured or not on our list anymore
from this week

The 2017 GF team

ELLIS RANCE GRIMES
HOULI ASTBURY VLASTUIN
MCINTOSH COTCHIN TOWNSEND
LAMBERT MARTIN CADDY
BUTLER RIEWOLDT RIOLI
NANKERVIS PRESTIA GRIGG
EDWARDS BROAD GRAHAM CASTAGNA

Here's to a better 2020...take away a teams on field leadership
and you get an impossible task each week.

It even gets worse-Remove Short,Conca and Miles all first team senior
starter quality no longer available..

YES.. there are some exceptions.. Lynch has been excellent from limited shots at goal
Lambert has been very consistent, and Stack looks like a long term player..

I hopefully expect Richmomnd to make a fool of me this year after my prediction of finishing 13th at this stage..
It's a shame when injuries ruin a season, and this year is our turn..
On the flip side looking forward to watching Brisbane finishing near the finals calculations.. they have been very impressive..

Players on Richmond's injury list:
Trent Cotchin – hamstring
Luke English – tonsillitis
Jack Graham – hamstring
Shaun Grigg – knee/hip
Callum Moore – ankle
Toby Nankervis – adductor
Alex Rance – ACL
Jack Riewoldt – PCL
Daniel Rioli – ribs/thigh
Jack Ross – ankle syndesmosis
Jayden Short – elbow
Nick Vlastuin – ankle

Its the golden rule all over again.. its not how many are injured that affects a team.
its how important the players are.. Look at the misery of St-Kilda and Melbourne right now
and the key personnel they are missing.. Guys we are not the only team with injury problems
but clearly missing the best most important players..

I want to thank Richmonds VFL team for coming over to play Fremantle this week.
If there was a braver effort this year I haven't seen it.
The under 19's must have played against Frankston in the actual VFL and got hammered...

No think again we are top of the ladder and won by 12 goals.
What a team this is..
