Info about stores?

Info about stores?

Postby Scotty_WCE » 27 May 2014, 22:27

Just looking for some info regarding stores on Gimko. Never had one on ebay so don't know how they work.

For example:

What are the benefits of having a store?
What's the difference between putting an item up for sale and putting it in your store?
Will my item be seen more in a store?

Will be listing over the long weekend.

Cheers in advance,
Scott :)

Hi Scott,

Thank you for expressing interest in a Gimko store!

Basically there are two ways to list: on site or in your store. Site listings can be either auction or BIN and have a time limit as set by you. A store is exactly as it sounds, you have your own online store and you place items in it to sell. Much like a physical store, this items have a fixed price, the opportunity for you to take offers on them and automatically no need to relist, unlike eBay. Items in your store will remain there forever until they are either sold or taken down by you, much like if you were selling something in a real store. Stores also provide you with extra options such as custom categories to organise your items in. For example you may order them in terms of sets, base, autos, inserts and the options are really endless in that regard! So list, sit and wait until someone buys your item, hassle-free!

There is no difference in exposure however your store will be available to view on our stores page which could provide more exposure to the items that way :D

Hope that clears it up and feel free to post any other enquires you may have!
